The Red Circle Awaits

Bring your sharpest insight to Franklin

We seek singular, defensible ideas rooted in rigorous inquiry and local impact. Review our standards and milestones before submitting your proposal for 2 October 2027.

Curatorial Standards

Three rules for the red circle

Every accepted talk is evaluated through a blind peer review panel drawn from regional civic and academic institutions.

Original Insight

Verified Evidence

Zero Commercial Pitch

Talks must present a novel perspective, a newly discovered local dataset, or a framework that changes how we understand a familiar problem.

Claims require solid backing. We test every assertion against documented research, empirical observation, and transparent methodology.

The stage is reserved for ideas, not promotion. Talks must never pitch a commercial product, service, or personal enterprise.

Submit your core thesis through our intake form. Our curation committee reads every application blindly.

Shortlisted applicants join a brief conversation with curators to discuss narrative arc and evidence depth.

Accepted speakers receive months of intensive talk development, coaching, and stage pacing workshops.

Deliver your 18-minute talk live at the Franklin Historic Theatre on 2 October 2027.
